Ask invitees for context up front so every meeting starts prepared.
Adding questions to an event type
On any event type, open the Questions section and add the questions invitees should answer when they book. They appear on the booking form, and the answers are saved with the booking and shown in your dashboard.
- Short text and long text — open-ended answers.
- Single-select — one choice from options you define.
- Multi-select — several choices from options you define.
- Phone number — a dedicated phone field.
- Mark any question required, and drag to reorder them.
How should I use booking questions?
Use them to qualify and prepare. A question like "What would you like to get out of this call?" turns a cold meeting into a focused one, and "What's your company and role?" gives you instant context.
Keep it short: ask only what genuinely changes how you'll show up. Every extra field is a small reason for someone to abandon the booking, so one or two sharp questions usually beat a long form.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make a booking question mandatory?
Yes. Toggle "required" on any question and invitees can't complete the booking without answering it.
Where do invitees' answers show up?
With the booking in your dashboard, and they're included in the context you have before the meeting.
Can different event types ask different questions?
Yes — questions are configured per event type, so your discovery call and your client check-in can each ask exactly what they need.
